About Me
Hello! My name is Hector Alexanderson and I have two professional passions: Data Science and Software Development.
I am a Computer Science Graduate from CETYS University. Early on, I developed an interest in storytelling through software, whether by discovering insights through data or creating engaging interfaces.
My professional experience has centered around Web Development and Full-Stack Development. Recently, I’ve dove into Data Engineering and Data Science, working on two exciting projects that combine data processing, analysis, and predictive modeling.
When I’m not working, I like to ignore my enormous amount of knee problems and play basketball whenever I get the chance.
Skills

Work and Projects
Designed and developed Auto Aire California’s (AACA) landing page using React and Tailwind CSS. You can check it out at autoairecalifornia.com.
Proyecto Xocolate POS System

To complete my Capstone Project, me and a team of developers and designers came up with a new Point of Sale System for a local restaurant called “Proyecto Xocolate”. This was made with React and PostgreSQL.
Web Developer at Santinos Digital

At Santinos Digital, I mainly worked as a Web Developer, providing support to the Innovation and Design Team. On my time there, I managed to make a new landing page in WordPress, and assisted in the creation of dashboards for analytics.
My Portfolio

This portfolio was designed and developed by me. Made with HTML, SCSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap and a sprinkle of GSAP.
GymTrack is an application designed to help users track their progress at the gym. It allows users to log and monitor their workouts in an intuitive way, making it easier to plan and follow their routines. For this mobile development, I used Kotlin and Firebase.
In this project I tried to find a direct correlation between crime and poverty in Mexico and the US. The objective was to demonstrate that crime can be a symptom of inequality and lack of oportunities. Made with three different datasets, managed with Python, and visualized with PowerBi.
